Josh was born and raised in Northern Virginia and attended Virginia Tech, where he played hockey for the Hokies. He also grew up in the mortgage business, starting out at 18 as an intern. Josh immediately caught his stride and moved up in the lending business quickly. As the Executive VP of Intercoastal Mortgage and the Chief Lending officer, his role is critical in shaping the loan process from start to finish. One of Josh’s true strengths is thinking “outside the box” for both The Burruss Team’s clients and the entirety of the company. In addition to rocking the mortgage business, Josh is also a dedicated husband and father of three who loves to travel and makes a mean breakfast. Go Hokies!

Erin comes to The Burruss Team as a career switcher who worked in Special Education for Fairfax County Public Schools for 15 years. She grew up an Army Brat and gained a love for travel early on from living abroad as a child and during college. Erin is a true people person that thrives when working and learning from all our clients and referral partners. As the Burruss Team’s “Agent/Client Concierge” Erin is here to ensure you have the true Burruss Experience during your loan process; One that you are sure to tell all your family and friends about. A die-hard Ohio State fan, you can always catch her watching college football, or planning her next travel adventure.

Barbara Roubo is a life-time resident of Fairfax County, Virginia. She has experienced this area during the fast-paced economic peaks and the valleys of slow growth and change. Her depth of knowledge and experience has been acquired over 40 years in the industry. She has been responsible for making mortgage credit underwriting decisions, managing the underwriting function, mortgage loan origination, and production management. This experience allows her to guide our customers through the tough decision of “is home ownership right for me” and “which mortgage program is the best given my circumstances.” Her business philosophy is that it is never a matter of if, only a matter of when.

Sam was born and raised in Virginia, growing up and going to school outside of Richmond. He joined the Army while in high school and was called to deployment while attending college at Eastern Carolina University. After returning from overseas and continuing his education at James Madison University, Sam joined The Burruss Team. An avid sports fan, Sam enjoys watching the Denver Broncos and loves the Nationals. He also loves spending time with his friends and family, as well as his best girl Mya (a Shepherd rescue). Sam is our team’s go-to behind the scenes guy, making sure that all your file moves smoothly through all the loan milestones.
